Red Card

Issued after repeated warnings or for grave offenses, leading to a referral to the Discipline Committee for further action, including potential dismissal.

Procedure for Issuing Warning Cards

  • A Blue Card is issued based on the recommendation of the class teacher after consultation with Academic In-Charges and the Principal.
  • If a student receives three Blue Cards, they are issued a Yellow Card as a second warning.
  • Escalation to Red Card: If a student receives three Yellow Cards, a Red Card is issued.
  • If a student receives three Yellow Cards, a Red Card is issued.
  • Serious Violations: In cases of serious misconduct, a Yellow or Red Card may be issued immediately, as determined by the Discipline Committee.
  • Parental Involvement: Warning cards are issued in the presence of parents to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Record Keeping: A separate register is maintained by Academic In-Charges, documenting the evidence supporting the issuance of each card.
  • Cumulative Record: Warning cards do not lapse at the end of an academic year; they remain valid throughout the student’s tenure at the school.

Consequences of Red Card Issuance

  • A Red Card leads to a review by the Discipline Committee.
  • Decisions are made in Discipline Committee meetings involving the Academic Heads and Principal.
  • A Red Card may result in dismissal at the end of the academic year.
